Plain Laziness
Well, many things happened this week other than the Bio SPA. Tuesday, what do you know? we had an "INTERESTING" bio lecture with the humorous guy, Mr Owen Tan! Nonetheless, we did stupid things to understand simple stuff. I played a part in his mini-play on DNA! I was an Adenine molecule, wondered why I didn't get thymine. Haha. So went up on stage, and he called my name the most number of times, seriously I'm his number 1 HIT! Haha. That's the part mentionable on that day. And I went home in a TAXI. With Choon Tee paying $5.30 out of the $5.50 fare. So I paid only $0.20. So worth it right! Haha. Thanks Choon Tee! Wednesday. Had CCA. Discussed about results with other members. A lot of different letters were exchanged and I dare not make a noise as I only have one letter to report. Haha. And 1 fact I've gotten hold of. The funny guy is ULTIMATE BIAS. He practise favouritism and scoring well equals getting in his good books. Also giving him FULL attention also equates that equation. So one might say he is a attention seeker? With his new 'format' of teaching, it does seems so. I wish Hollywood would sue him for the copyright usage of their movie trailers. Haha. Then CCA ended early, say 3.30pm, resulting in the jealousy of my certain classmate as hers have not even started. For Thursday, COMPASS (aka Pastoral Care) is a really memorable period, for that term. Haha. We had a guest, Mr Gilbert Tan, A mouth and foot artist- He's paralyzed waist down and he cannot move his fingers. Such a pitiful plight but he mentioned he was the top 10% income earners in Singapore. When he asked whether we want to change place with him, I don't mind actually, to earn that much money and being invited to many countries with so much honors and glory and WEALTH. He sang a really logical song called, 'Living Life.' Self-composed and won some national song writing competition in Japan. It's really meaningful and I tried to search for it in Youtube but couldn't find any. I admire his courage and confidence in able to speak so freely of his disabilities and to look on the bright side of life. I would like to have that attitude too but let's just say I'm quite far from it. Haha. Today, Friday 20/07/2007. Special day huh. However nothing special really happened to me. So nothing to talk about. There is a sad news though. My friend, whom I looked up to, has taken on a habit which I detest most. SMOKING. He was a nice guy, whom can be describe as an IDEAL student, good grades, good attitude, and good behaviour. Yet upon entering NS, he took up smoking and says its ok to smoke. He took biology, he knows the harms, yet he knowingly took the wrong step. Somehow, his image in my mind has a crack and I hope he better know what he is doing and not make another mistake. I hate smoking, smokers, anything related. I always do not like the idea of why people would want to destroy their own body, therefore I also don't like piercing. I wonder why people change, for the better and for the worse. Ok. Updated upon receiving the GOOD NEWS!!! My highly respected freind lied about the smoking thing. Haha. Like a major PHEW man. Haha. So all the previous crap shall be dedicated to another friend but of kinda the opposite qualities, and many smokers or going-to-be smokers out there. Tomorrow is HIS birthday, I'm looking forward to the sumptuous dinner, not HIM. Oh well, he is sick right now, not that I feel anything but I might not get to eat at Swensons tomorrow, due to his sickness. Haiz. If only the people who changed stayed the same and those who need to change go and do something about themselves. Or maybe my parents made him the wrong way. I do believe we had different education methods at home and many other different treatments. They were so worried when he slept early, complained of discomfort. What can I expect, after all, he's the APPLE of their EYES. So that about sums it up. And I really want to know how to keep archives. So I can re-look at my entries next time. Maybe I'll have regrets, maybe not. But one thing's for sure, I believe these will bring back fond memories. Haha.
